If we all googled everything we wanted to know, there would be no interaction on this forum.....for thousands of years people have talked to each other....
I would have posted a link but just had the phone and had stuff to do
Here it is

It is a decent boat show inside at the NEC in the UK. Some feel it was a replacement for the London Boat Show at Earls court.

This was the 2023 show we missed the 2024 show due to having Covid

We will certainly go in 2025

I looked at the list of exhibitors a few years ago and it seemed aimed at dinghies and inland waterways. If I was closer it might make a 'nice' day out but I have a 2.5 hour drive to it.

Just looked at registering with them to be informed of exhibitors as they sign up but they wanted mobile number so I'm not registered ...

Even the ticket link has no detail so it means they have no idea about the ticket price.

Maybe I'm expecting to much, but SIBs knew the ticket price back in May when they first started to advertise.

It's very much geared up to inland water ways and small boats, this year there were a few 20-30foot sports boats, a few smallish ribs, and sibs, narrowboats, couple of jet skis etc. A few stands selling marine stuff.

It's a very small show compared to Southampton or London, possibly worth a visit if you live near, or you know there is something specific going to be available that you are interested in.

How many boats over 40 ft are sold new in the uk
It would depend on where the country is on its economic cycle...I suspect we quite low, so probably not many. It also depends on places in ports being available....as the market matures, the ports fill...old fiberglass boats are immortal, so hardly ever get removed from the port to create new places.....and because of ecological considerations, very few new ports are built

We thought the 2024 show was an improvement over the previous year and we'll definitely be going in 2025.

We went this year and it is small, not enough to justify the trip really as you can whiz round it in an hour, however the caravan and camping show was in one of the other halls and thats worth a look at the same time. The two shows use to be combined in the same halls which made sense but it wasn't a good idea to separate the boat bit as its just not big enough at the moment.

It certainly is big enough for a Day out. Just slow down and actually look at some stuff and talk to some people. It is in my view a lovely start to the season in the UK after the long winter

Well I would not like people think that it is a show not worth visiting and I think after a long winter it is a lovely kick start to the Season
These days I prefer the small shows....I can be finished by the time the wife has walked the dog...we then meet up outside somewhere and go for lunch. Perfect start to the season

Seems a bit odd that tickets are not yet available. Perhaps there is not enough interest from exhibitors.
