Boat Insurance without Craft Maker

Ahoy ; I have purchased a reativily cheap (but sound) Craft ,16ft loa in GRP , and an now having issues insuring it ; I used to like /use Navigators & General , for my older Craft , but when going to take Insurance out today , they would not entertain my application , because I could not provide Manufacturer , Class , Designer details , so I am asking can anyone suggest an Insurance Company that does nor insist upon Manufacturer , Class , Designer etc , please ;

I have used a broker to find fully comp insurance including rig cover on a 1980 yacht (2001 rig) without a survey, and for an early 1970s Dory kept in Greece without survey, both without conditions or exceptions.
Online insurance quote engines declined in both cases, so I went to a broker and they got it sorted.
I use Bay marine insurance broker in Cardiff, no connection just happy customer.
