Boat insurance -swingng moorings

we get 12 month mooring cover for no extra, Tayvallich. edit; Noble marine

they did impose a singlehanded night time limit of 4h max tho - when i queried this due to our lack of daylight in the winter(!) they said that they would not remove it, and it was there basically cos we were in the water overwinter

so, what age do your kids have to be to count as crew??

In conclusion

Insuring with Y Yacht Insurance.

- Year round on swinging mooring.
- Extended/change of cruising area.
- Premium only £30 more than I paid last year for a more restricted cruising area and 7 months on a mooring/5 months pontoon berth.

Marginal increase in insurance premium more than offset by a %75 reduction in mooring/berthing costs.
Quite chuffed.
