Boat Insurance - but which company?

Would appreciate your opinions on MB Insurance c£250k value. Which Company. Having read the forum have become confused. I have been with GDW for years - their best price is £200+ more at c £1300, than Pant, Have, Naut, Nav, all are around the same price £30 or so differences. Who would you go with for a comprehensive inclusive policy and someone who will be there with you if and when you need them?

Why not Pants? They always seemed to have better cover when I was insuring a seagoing yacht, very cooperative, and a good reputation.

+1 for N&G. Only ever made one claim but my treatment avoided a drama becoming a crisis!

If you are with GJW then show them proof of other quotes & they will more often than not match it. And they are very good & honest about paying out after a claim. Not sure about GDW!

I have always insured my boats through Colemans in Poole. They are a broker but they do also run the Sunseeker Shield policy. They shop around on your behalf and often get very keen deals.
