Re: Cars all the same

I didn't think that was nearly as nice as the <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.bentleymotors.com/bentley/index.htm>Project Hunaudieres</A>

well the MG versions were brought out to appeal to the under 65's.

Not for me though, if only they would drop the old names, MG to me, means rusty old MGB's that were nothing more than tarted up morris marinas underneath.
They are getting there though.

Re: don\'t think so?

"There are some rails, but they seem to be for a camper top?"

No, look closely, I'm sure theres a windscreen drawn on up there!

Didn't notice it till I saw the advery in a magazine...

Cars all the same

I wasn't sure about button. I thought he had a Phantom , but the post worked better if I made it as a claim.

Accuracy would have spoiled it !

...I wanna boat please..

HAHAHAHAHA!! Brilliant! :-D

I have a bog-standard N-reg Rover 220. A month ago it was holding a steady 130 (mph) on a German autobahn. Not sure where the knitting and teatowels got to, though.

Boy you must have some tea towels, sport version of the 220 and Coupe have 190 bhp under the bonnet, 0-60 around 6 seconds, top speed 150 mph true.

Be careful, also a lot of moded ones are pushing 250 plus bhp.

Could it be marinised, d'you think? Or would the carpet slippers go mouldy?

"0-60 around 6 seconds"

If you could keep it out of the ditch!

Apparently in the dictionary under "torque steer" it just has a little picture of a Rover 220 Turbo!!!

;-)

Ah, but you post doesn't say that if you were driving your Rover at same time as doing the 130mph. And if you were, why was all this taken you a whole month ? - to slow down or to recover or what? :-)

Re: Quite cheap, really

You wouldn't need all six numbers just to get a Rover 75, mate. They start at less than 20 grand. That's five numbers, a bad jackpot and still a load of cash left over...
