Boat in build pics (2013 Fairline Squadron 78)

We used A Glaze for the first time this year, the surface finish is excellent & appears to be a better solution than wax as per Hurricane's comments, however when applied to a used boat the surface preparation is paramount before final coats. Best to do smaller areas then move on, to ensure that surface is absolutely clean.

Here's one that didn't have your foresight to match (excuse the pun) the hull windows to the crews!!!
Probably a recent build as well!

That's hull #73, the London boat show boat 2012. Based in Mallorca (Palma I think) and UK owned - an Essex Boatyards supplied boat. Nice machine; pretty standard spec becuase it was sold as a stock boat

Looks nice there in Mallorca Mike. I was berthed in your berth there in Alcudia in 2011 :-)

J, if my limited experience with maritime shipping is anything to go by, you'd better make your own forecast tracking the vessel on the web.
Sometimes, they prefer to "smoothen" the bad news, so to speak, giving them one bit at a time...
From the harbour where the ship is moored right now (and she's stuck there since May 31st, for God knows which reasons), she'll need 6 full days to reach S'hampton - assuming no stop in between.
Which means that the date they just gave you are still feasible, but only IF she'll leave soon, and heading straight to S'hampton.
They had to know since at least 2-3 days that Friday 7th was not feasible anymore, fwiw...
Bonne chance!

Shipping company have just told me Apollogracht is late, grrr. Will now load 11/12 June, they say.
Par for the course, I'm afraid. When the global economy was booming, ships were always too full to stop in the UK for our stuff and now that the global economy is tanking, they're waiting until they're full before moving. You can't win with shipping

GRRR!! as others have said, about par for the course! of all the god knows how many ships i have chartered, the number that have kept time that far out i could count on one hand i suspect!

As always, stuck between a rock and a hard place, you know they are good and will do whatever they can to help!

in the mean time, looks like you will be at OV a bit longer! hope SWMBO is looking after you there!

The solution is obvious.....drive her down to the Med yourself. If you start now you would be there at the same time and would have had the experience of a delightful cruise down in lovely weather. Down through the Chenal du Four, round the Raz du Sein, pause at Les Isles de Glenans, across Biscay to Finistere..etc. Costs cant be that different, particularly if you cruise at dispalcement speed at night with your wonderful stabs!!
