Hi and welcome.
I've no idea of the boat, and can see that there's a fair bit to do. Others with more knowledge than I have will be along and ask whether there's a makers mark on any of the timbers, even a 'hull number' carved somewhere. She's got the look of something just post war, but with a slightly later hull shape?.
When you bought her did you have her surveyed? For some reason I'm feeling concern about the decks looking unoriginal, with a fairly new forehatch. My concern would be that the decks have softness?
Absolutely nothing to base it on!
Where are you based, and does she have a motor?

If no numbers on a deck beam maybe on the inside of the transom?

I've noticed that quite a few old wooden Aus boats have sheathed decks, easy to understand why!

Seen a bit of love at some point; even if the rig was used fitting it would not have been straightforward, the original spar would have been wooden. Is the hull Kauri? It's the right era and it's really durable.

I believe it to be diagonal planked kauri, previous owner said it spent most of its life in pittwater syd, I was thinking maybe herreshoff? but freeboard is higher than h28? and rudder not transom hung?
