i would go for it as long as the money is real and he not using fakes then sells your boat cheap for real money. If he turns up and has cash on the hip take and say good bye cash is ok cant go wrong there.

.......but make sure you go with him to the bank and let him pay it in. That way it's between the bank and him if there are any notes of dodgy origin...
