Boat Fire

Yes it appeared at Mr Newmans last summer with a loud party of drunks. There was a huge amount of booze being consumed by the guests.

That's the only time I've seen it out, it seemed to be tied up at the town marina for most of the time.

Hmm, shiny new cruiser, charters needed to pay the bills, hadn't been out the harbour much, capital value dropped, then destroyed in fire ??

Seems the crew were lucky to get out unhurt though, so sounds more like a case of plain old bad luck, although stranger things have happened. Glad nobody hurt anyway.

I'm glad I'm not the only cynical b'stard on this forum. It's sad enough that someone's precious has burnt to the waterline, altho' no-one seems to have been hurt too badly.

But why do we harbour such uncharitable thoughts! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Thank goodness I didn't post that first... /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I concur though. You can't help thinking these thoughts these days, wrong as it probably is...

I wonder what the insurers are thinking! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Why are we so cynical on the forum, it's the boat used for RYA motor boat courses, and part time charter. It runs up and down the river in front of our house, the firms been going now since the 1980's, used to based in Falmouth town.

Lets have a few positive vibes out there.
