Hi has anyone got a rough idea of costs to have a Galeon 990 sports cruiser delivered to the Murcia region from Fleetwood, it's about 10 metres overhaul length. Also what is the most economical way of getting it there, is a low loader lorry likely to be cheaper for the overhaul journey as opposed to shipping it there. Has anyone got any recommendations of a good delivery firm as well please.

If you are taking the boat to the Murcia area the easiest marina for the delivery truck is Alicante. It's close to the motorway with big wide roads thereafter. Put the boat back in the water there and cruise to the final destination.
The smaller marinas can be difficult to get a big lorry into. Might save you a few bob on the quotes.
We shipped a 45' boat out about 10 years ago and it was @ £6K from Yorkshire to Alicante from memory. I assume it will have gone up a bit by now. The delivery journey took @ 4 days.

Boatshift.co.uk has trucked two boats (Bavaria 39 Sport and Princess V42) from the UK to Spain for us, would not hesitate to recommend.
Thanks for the recommendation. Any idea on what sort of costs we should be looking at.

Simon is the man to talk too, nice guy. Mention you are on the forum and he gives a discount. No affiliation, I just follow and talk to him on twitter.

I've used Sealand a couple of times, reliable and very helpful. In your neck of the woods as well.

Sealand Boat Deliveries

Used them when I bought my very first flybridge, they were tasked with delivering the boat from Surrey to Scotland, the boat was damaged by them on the trip, they wouldn't except liability, said it was the inferior design of the boat that caused the problem, took them to court and won, once bitten twice shy as they say.
