Boat country of registration flags / size etc

The boats registration flag (ensign) is usually one inch of fly for each foot of boat length. So, if your boat is 35 feet long, then a 36inch (one Yard) ensign would be about right.

For courtesy flags, these are often 40cms x 30cms - but there does not seem to be any hard and fast rules.

Hope this helps. :)

?? Never heard that one .... I'd better run down to local shop and get a proper ensign ... my Latvian is about 15" max ... on a 25ft'r ...

Cost me 3 euros in supermarket - just had to remove the Car window stick from it ... :D

Hi Refueler , was beginning to feel like that as of the 7 replies to our post only one was informative the other 6 questioning the legality of our paperwork and our situation , without actually doing any research into the North Cyprus predicament , hopefully we have addressed the point raised and look forward to a few helpful answers to the original posting …….maybe :)

Ask about which is the best anchor to have! I dare you...:D
