Anyone have any suggestions for a local canopy supplier in Poole. Also any ideas on best material to use. (The boat is a Sealine 218) Any info would be appreciated, thanks..

Give this crowd a phone, they do all Sealines Canopies, and they're surprising cheap, They may have a template, so you'll need your boats HIN no. , but your 218 might be too old for them to have a template, if so they'll use your currrent one as template.
The current Sealine fabric is very good.

I'll second that, Fibretrim made a great canopy for my Sealine, from their template. They will also give you a load of poppers because they need to be fitted when the canopy is in position on your boat. You may need to find someone local to fit it. I do most things DIY but bottled out of this one.
best of luck and welcome to the forum

Same here, made a cannopy from template for our last boat, sealine 240.

Full canopy inclusive £600.

30 day turnaround, same as David though, needed local guy to fit & finish but very good quality material & construction.

Looked good as new 3 seasons on & only replaced one Zip as I pulled the end off after a few too many sherberts one night.

I am having one made by Quay sails at the moment for a Sealine 285. I have seen some of their work and it looks excellent plus they will come out and measure which some will not do.

Hmmmmm

Agree they do make very good canopies........

eventually.........
They had serious problems with the S29 but seem to have got it right now. I am currently sporting version No 4 /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif.....and have No3 as a spare.....so no new canopies for me for a few years /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

current material excellent
