Just back from attending this years Bluewater Algarve Regatta, Lagos Portugal, 3 days of racing in sunny conditions. Cost is staggering! Only 40 euro per head, Includes Crew shirt,Free barand nibbles after each days racing in order to have your post mortem as to why you were not in the first 3!
Final day prize giving at a nearby hotel resort, superb buffet BBQ with beverages on tap all night from the sponsors.
Live band for those with energy to dance.
How did we do? We had a great time and the only time we were in the lead was as we headed the fleet out of the Marina to the start line on the final day of racing. " Reflex" a 38ft Selection a French production yacht. Interesting how a "Drone" was used to obtain photos of the racing.
Well worth looking to 2016 there are racing yachts for charter in the Marina.
