Listen very carefully, I shall say this only once ... or twice. Or maybe once in a while ... well anyway I don't want to fall foul of the rules by overstating my case so ...

As of now I'm up and running in a limited part time way as a marine electrical and electronics engineer. As of the New Year I shall be unlimited and full time!

Any work gratefully received, very reasonable rates*, all work carried out to the relevant current standards etc

I am, or will shortly be (I'm still doing my shopping!), equipped with all the necessaries to carry out fault finding on electrics, electronics and VHF installations, new installations / upgrades, repairs, re-wiring etc. etc. And I have the relevant insurance cover, of course**

One of the things on my shopping list is a mobile phone sim for business use so no phone number just yet. You can, of course, PM me through this site

* Your eyes may water a little but I promise you won't need any limbs removing ***

** Nb. I cannot, unfortunately, obtain insurance cover for surveys and inspections (for insurance purposes - I can inspect an installation of course but I cannot certify that it is safe etc.) at a cost which is viable at this time. I can certify my own work but not an existing installation.

*** A joke so good I've used it twice. I'm not promising not to use it again. And again

Good luck Bru. I'm sure you'll miss BP really.

Trust me, the way things are at the moment I won't! If enoughdefinite work piles up I'll be out of there even sooner!

(I've got to pay off the car loan and my credit card before I can quit. Don't want debts hanging around when work is not guaranteed)

Bearing in mind the rules, how much do you charge per hour to come and explain my dc system to me in Ipswich. You can pm me if you'd rather.
Cheers

PM on its way in a second

I'm not sure whether it would be within the rules to publish my rates here so I shall refrain. There may be some information of interest, ahem, upon my a new Facebook page at https://m.facebook.com/peckettmarine where there may also from time to time appear such useful items and snippets of advice etc as occur to me
