not even close..... 4 coats on everywhere takes a looooooong time...Surely, by now you must be running out of things to varnish?

You need an au pair. Ours put 15 coats on the mast for me...

thats only the interior.... the exterior has had/will get 10 coats.

And once those are all on, it will be another two coats for every year of ownership.
I sometimes look at the 'glaze' that is on the hull of some traditional Dutch boats and think the owners are either very wealthy or they should get a life!

Oh, how I yearn to keep TG in a shed over the winter. Think of the ease of doing things! How can I get 10 coats of vanish on the rail under the cover? And once I get the cover off, there is never enough time. There wasn't ten days free of rain last Spring.

I look at the traditional boats around in beautiful condition and think how great it is that someone can do that for me to look at !!!!
No exterior varnish for us. It never seems to work on teak.......
and the previous owner did the inside a dozen or more years ago
