Blackwater Scrubbing posts

Hello all,

I'm after locations of useable scrubbing posts on the Blackwater or Colne please? There are some in Maldon but I haven't seen them used for a long time and not sure how sound they are. Much appreciate any input.

Posts at West Mersea, Bradwell and in Tollesbury Marina. Marconi SC also has one but I believe that is for members' use only.

If you have twin keels then I would be tempted to use the beaches at Osea or Bradwell for a scrub!

If you have twin keels then the beach just to the west of Stone SC is nice & clear, hard & flat just go on 2 hours after HW as first bit is steep shelving

There is a couple of sets of posts on concrete hardstanding at Tollesbury Marina, with electricity, freshwater and tie-off points for restraining the masthead. Costs £45 per day.
The liveaboards get grumpy if you use a pressure washer at 5:30 am though

That's great, thanks all. Long keel so beach no good or I'd have been straight to Goldhanger, which is lovely with a good pub in the village!
