Yes there is on Rhine-Danube river systems and it proves that more and more people are using it every year.
If you google it patiently there are many stories and infos on this issue.

In around two years time i intend to take me old boat back to Egypt (Alex) i was thinking of taking the thing myself as opposed to having it transported.Doing it this way would only leave me the crossing from black sea to Alex.Its just an idea at the moment.Thought it was worth checking out though.

We met a Dutchman this year in Greece who had done exactly that. Came down the Danube and sailed from there.

You may also find this quite useful.

It appears that you would have a choice of routes from the North Sea to the Black Sea. You could take in Berlin and Warsaw on the way.
