Went to the Marine Bazzar this week to get some stuff to replace a seized seacock.
In the end we found what we wanted and a way to do the job , which involved changing the diameter of the hose via a reducer and all manner of finding bits of marine plumbing that would fit together etc.
They even tried brutalising some of the old bits apart so they could be reused , in their workshop.
The threads had been literally glued up with what looked to me like epoxy so no amount of savagery would shift them we found.
So in all I found them very helpfull.
They have also reordered stuff in there and it all looks much better than it used to.
They had an interesting collection of Seagull outboards if you like that sort of thing.
A much pleasanter experience than some of my earlier visits.
