Putting the boat back together today, running out some new lazyjack lines, when all of a sudden the upper line descended from the heavens complete with shackle and block. Now I need to go up the mast and pop rivet a new fitting to hold it all up.

In short, does anyone in the Ipswich area have an industrial strength pop rivetter I can borrow next weekend as I don't my little pliers type rivetter is up to the job.

thanks for looking

More than happy to let you borrow them if you can find a way of getting them there and back again within a week or two.

Sixpence - Thats the thing!!! Where would I need to pick them up from and get them back to? aren't you Kings Lynn way or Ely way

or Sailorman I should be able to get to Foxes Friday Night?

thanks for both your offers

Pete

No problem, but it looks like Roger may well be an easier option. Failing that I'm based in South Lincolnshire, Spalding, and the gizmo is on Sixpence at Fosdyke Yacht Haven, River Welland. If needed I can get it here or probably through to Peterborough, but not expecting to go down that way for a while now so it would need collecting and onward transportation. Let me know if you need it and I'm sure someone will step forward to help out with that side

Thanks for that chaps, I think I will buy one - cheapest I had previously found was 47 quid in machine mart

cheers

Pete
