birchwood 33 decks

I have the original bw33 antislip deck in a shade of brown but it is now looking worn out and tired, has any bw owner tryed to remove and replace or painted over the top of the original, any advice or experiances would be appreciated. Ken

I have the same craft, luckly my decks are ok but on my last boat these had been painted. I used deckgrip but remember once you have painted it once you have to keep painting it. I tried to remove several layers but is was impossible to clean out. make sure you have no other option! try cleaning it with acetate, but do it quickly or you may dissolve the gell, Rick
