Bills of Sale

I am going to look at a small boat for winter use when All Gold is out of the water (can't be without a boat all together!), i have established from the owner that he bought her from a marina and so has a bill of sale, but this would be a private transaction, does anyone know what, if anything, could I do to show transfer of ownership to me?

Yup, you can have a Bill of Sale between private individuals, use the MCA version above, or I believe the RYA also has one.
