Bikini girl with patreon account goes sailing somewhere hot

One more for the genre

I think there are about 20 or 30 of these things now

It's nice to see someone taking such a close interest in the bikini-wearing fraternity of our fellow mariners, I salute you sir.
I wonder if you could post a list of the other 29, a friend is interested, for research purposes ;)

Sailing Uma
Shaun & Julia Sailing
Sailing La Vagabond
Sail Over The Horizon
Keep Turning Left

Are the top ones that are actually interesting to everyday sailors. Tho I was hoping to see more bikini shots Dylan.... Lmao :)

There are others but mostly rich types with ridiculously expensive boats that are only really showing off their stuff.

On another note Dylan could you include more life in the cabin shots be nice to see more of life inside of the centaur.

Regards ?

RAN sailing is worth a look on YouTube, A good balance of sailing, maintenance, tourism and high production values.

there are two different types of films

the bikini ones - which are successful int erms of earning revenue and getting hits

and the other more ordinary people sailing unexceptional boats and telling you what it is like getting there

followed by a bit of background to the places visited.

one of the mobs said that he liked my films because my boat is usually the worst in the marina

anything I can do - he could do better

as for including more domestic stuff - I think that the desire to watch the way an old bloke lives while sailing a shit boat to interesting places is a bit limited

I mention food a bit on the blog though

I know it's a bit old-fashioned to be binary about gender, but would bikini-wearers not be a sorority (or even a sisterhood) rather than a fraternity?

Yep, we all know how we sail.

I got bored with watching two kids swimming on the great barrier reef, catching fish, and swimming, and laying in a hammock, and swimming, catching fish. Is there anything to look at, wild life or scenery round there?

Sail Life
Keep Turning Left
Sailing La Vagabonde
RAN Sailing

...are my favourites.

vagabonde are currently earning around 6K per film from patreon

they are regulalrly getting half a million youtube hits per film on youtube - earning them $500 or so from adsense

I agree La vagabonde is thee best on the web the moment

it is well cut together and they really know how to share their adventure

it is still irrelevant to my sort of sailing

in one film they did almost 200 miles in one day and never had to put any foulies on

a centaur would break up at those speeds

cabin heating is not generally an issue for them

sail life - makes my buttocks clench

Ran sailing is alos good - and blimey they have a lovely boat - their patreon income is around $400 per film - which I assume does not go far towards the costs of keeping such a big boat on the water

meanwhile..... ugly old bloke continues to plod on around a small damp island in the atlantic in series of shit boats

my project lacks glamour that is for sure but it has longevity

D

PS - la vagabonde woman has lovely teeth

I won't watch La Vagabond because they looted a sunk boat and then ridiculed the owner who was trying to protect his property.

I had forgotten that - is that episode still in their run of fillms or has it been removed?

there was also "hold fast" a film about a group of young people who went out on late night "scavenging" trips around boat yards in florida

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lwbHYOFD-4

they also "dossed" down on their neighbours biiat while they were doing up their own boat - they did not ask the neighbour if they could have permission to use his nice wooden mobo as an extension

I have yet to "liberate " or scavenge anything other than a few pebbles

I will confess to stealing the odd night on unnocupied moorings

I think any realistic budget conscious prospective boat owner should be shown KTL. Whilst Dylan puts the camera away during the bad weather (so it's usually quite nice weather on film), we still get a sense of the true British sailing way of life for those not in the upper echelons of the hobby.

The lack of thong encrusted, warm water snorkel adventures is actually why I prefer KTL, at least it's something I can achieve right now - for those of us with less experience it's a wonderful learning tool too. much as I'd like to be in the Med right now, the reality is closer to home and because of that Dylan's adventure is my personal escape from reality which I could dream to aspire to.

Forgot to mention Wicked Salty.

I'm struggling to get into Drakeparagons videos, but I do love his interviews/boat tours, particularly the interview with Mads Bo Falk onboard his Polaris Drabant 26.

I wish KTL would do more interviews/boat tours. I do love the Andy Baldwin interview and the interview with the blokes on the pontoon at Gainsboroug. I also love the yard tours and walkrounds.

I used to like FollowTheBoat published by a British couple. In the end I got fed up with a never ending saga of boat breakdowns and close up video footage of the ship's cat defecating in the main heads bowl to the apparent delight and applause of the human crew.

GonewithTheWynns is shaping up nicely. A young American couple have ditched their RV lifestyle and purchased a middle sized catamaran. They are a highly manicured couple who always appear on camera with perfectly gelled hair and dressed as though they we going for a job interview at some social media start-up business. It will be interesting to see how a bluewater nomad lifestyle roughens them up. Like all the successful YouTube sailing video series they provide an engaging immersive experience for the viewer, high technical production standards and multi episode staying power.

ChaseTheStory is a current favourite of mine. They offer a good insight into a palatial circumnavigation aboard their upmarket apartment like cat. Despite the money they are a thoroughly likable youngish crew to watch and their focus on exercise appeals to me.
