Beta 25 drive belt

The drive belt on our Beta 25 seems to be working its way forward off the pulleys. There seems to be adequate tension. Can anyone cast any light?

It looks to be in all 4 grooves as it should.

Check the alignment and security of the alternator/s and water pump.

Looks just like mine - as long as all 4 grooves are engaged it's OK. However I do remember when I installed mine several years ago, I was convinced the pulleys were not in line, talked to Beta who told me they were and on checking properly with a straight edge they were fine - optical illusion - engine has now done over 1200 hrs and the belt is still good, checked yesterday. The belt does have to tight though.
Talk to Beta if you have any doubts - they are very helpful.

The belt is not in all 4 grooves, it's forward one groove.

As per post #2, check the alternator and water pump alignment with a straight edge. Refit and keep an eye on it if the alignments are correct. You may find you need to fit a new belt though.
