Just thought i would post this in case it helps. I have a 6 year old Beta 20 with a PRM gearbox. Had the engine serviced mid June including cleaning heat exchanger stack. Did not run engine until two weeks ago. Clearly very little water coming through. Decided to take off the oil cooler (part of the PRM setup) and clean - no change. Checked inlet (swum under) and everything but what two friends on pontoon said - the 3/4" copper pipe from the raw water pump, which when eventually taken off the end on top of the pump was blocked by limescale, almost in growth rings as seen when you cut a tree trunk, and a pin hole through. Now pumping huge volumes through - so I would say always worth checking this pipe which very easy to remove and check.

Very commonly found on domestic heating systems in hard water areas. Very surprised it wasn't picked up on during service , its not formed that much over night. Nice example though..
