Not bought any yet, but what is best method of terminating bitter ends?

Does it melt?

Or whipping?

Thank you in advance

I do like an eye splice but pull the tail all the way in so there's no eye left.
Sort of like this but keep pulling so the tail is inside the bight and the end is tidy

Yes it does melt, whipping would need to be sewn as well - dyneema is very slippery. Our halyards are heat cut.

GHA's method is neat, though (and I don't know,) you might want to try a longer insert.

Is you question for braided or covered.

I was just thinking of tinkering with plain uncovered dyneema_ very much like the blue dyneema in the photo.
