I am buying an lg 24" smart tv for the boat and see that it runs on 19v. Is there any high st outlets that sell 12 to 19v dc to dc converters or is an ebay job?

I installed 2 x LG 24" tvs. They're meant to be 240v mains but the input voltage needs to be 13.8v so I just used a DC to DC converter to go from 12v to 13.8v. No issues atall. Much better quality tv than the "proper" 12v tv which are twice the price

Thats interesting as I read somewhere online they were 19v...but forget where.

Yes I have seen them online but was wanting to buy one over the cou ter so that I could fit tomorrow but I guess it will be mail order

Definitely check before purchase. I purchased mine 18 months ago and they look identical to that model but I can't be sure on model number until I return to my boat in Feb, definitely 13.8v on mine though.

That one shows as 19v on LG site but I'm sure it will be fine with a 12 to 19 dc to dc converter
