I am pretty sure if GiB joins U.K. passport holders will have an exemption in Gibraltar, it would be chaos otherwise.

The current proposal either has Spanish or EU Frontex border guards at Gib airport and port.

Can't see how you could have an exemption - if you turn right out of the terminal you're about 20m from the border.

I think they're more worried by having a Schengen border for the 150,000 Spaniards who work daily in Gib compared to tourists.

Gibraltar itself is VERY small - and IMHO would become boring and limiting very quickly.
Also, others will know better than me, but I thought berthing options were very limited - hence why many boats berth just across the water on the Spanish side

Booking has been necessary for years so we anchor off LaLinea beach and phone Marina Bay every morning to see if anyone's leaving.

Airport is the sticking point, it's military not civil although airlines are allowed to use it.
