Pink Floyd; stand by for Galadriel...

Personally I'd go for 'Wish You Were Here', topped off with The Walls' 'Comfortably Numb', surely one of rock's all time classics.

Nice to See Wishbone Ash getting a mention, went to see them in about 1979 and they were excellent.

If only I'd got to see Led Zeppelin...

I saw Wishbone Ash twice in the 70s and once about eight years ago. I saw Led Zeppelin at Leicester Uni, just after Led Zeppelin II was released. Oh the memories.

Are the record companies missing a trick here? With the number of "driving" compilations surely there's space for "The Best Heavy Weather Sailing Album In The World....Ever!".

If Virgin aren't interested maybe Adlard Coles Nautical might be...

Put together a compilation for playing in rough weather! It makes the experience of rounding the Horn in stormy conditions a stimulating one with the CD blaring out at high volume.

Sibelius – Finlandia Op.26
Beethoven's 5th symphony
Tchaikovsky’s piano concerto 1, B flat minor
Verdi - Aida - Grand March
Verdi - Nabucco - Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves
Naval Hymn - The Red Army Choir (from Hunt for Red October)!
