best internet site ?

Hi,

I'm looking to order some parts over the next few months for a restoration project. Does anyone have experience with chandlery e-commerce sites ? Which ones are the best to use ?

dunno about that. As with everything you need to shop around. The Warrington branch is about 10 minutes from me and very handy. Last week I bought some new rope for a mainsheet.

Their prices were the best online and not a great deal different to the rope man at the boat jumbles. I told them about this and he said their clothes were also cheaper than most, looking online I have to agree.

Other stuff though can frighten the dust back into my wallet. Basically I would not write mailspeed off though, for one thing, they almost always have stock. Most online chandleries it seems do not sell ex stock.

Compass's prices for clothing are very good. Prices at boatshow are same as online, and their Musto Coastal MPX prices undercut everyone else there that I could see
