Best Antifoul for the Orwell?

Long story short, I'm hopefully going to be moving my Westerly Berwick from Milford Haven to the Orwell next year. What do people reckon to be the most effective antifoul for the Orwell?

Anything, sometimes one paint works well, sometimes it doesn't. Depends on the turbidity, what's growing well that year etc. I get good results with Blakes/Hempel Tiger Extra, but 5 different people will tell you they get good and bad results from their paint.
However, welcome to the friendly yachting community, sailing and mobo, with a strong forum presence here and willing to help where they can

Micron works well for me; apply it thickly and it lasts 2 years.

Not white! Black Jotun OK for me. Agree with Haberty, depends on the year.

Based on results this year, a water washable child's finger paint may well prove more cost effective than the cruiser uno I used. The new 'E' compliant formula has been very poor.

Seaqueen has been good yet again. very light slime on the hull to about 2 ft down & on the rudder,after 5 months

Two coats of Cruiser Uno worked well for us.

Light slime on rudder and keel after 5 months afloat.

One of the biggest factors would appear to be whether you are on a mooring or in a marina. In the marina, there is a veritable soup of various antifouls slopping around which preumably helps all the boats.
On a mooring, you'll need to ask those who moor nearby......

Thanks. It will hopefully be in a marina rather than on a mooring. It seems from the replies so far that a variety of antifouls are used with variable results!

I have used Seajet Shogun for a number of years, and generally pretty good results, both on mooring and marina based. I do generally try and clean the slime off with the yacht afloat a few times during the season. If some one can suggest something that works to keep the prop clean that would be a bonus.

I keep saying it, but satisfaction with antifouling is in direct proportion to the amount of the stuff you apply.

Fouling around this area is a bit variable, depending on how much sediment is in suspension, the tidal flow, and whether the boat takes the ground. We had a lot of trouble in Maylandsea creek but I would have thought the Orwell water was clearer, and tidal flow might help a bit on some berths.
