Hi Guys
I having a small issue with the gangway, its working fine but will not return to its housing in the boat?
I have a feeling that it has forgotten its position and will not retract away?
I know how to set to manual and over ride it but then I fear I might loose the remote or can't get it to work and we need it working and can cope with it stuck out for now?
any thoughts on this as I am sure I have heard of this problem before?

I think the whole thing is controlled by micro switches but I don’t know why I think this !

I believe it has to know where it is at before commencing the final sequence. Maybe one out of alignment ? Be a bugger to get to !

If it's the
Cassette type i had this problem the retract sensor wire had been broken by the roller and I had to replace a basxard
of a job but doable if you are made of rubber
Check your sensors aren't out of line first though due to vibration, you will need a wiring diagram

Same thing happened to me last week. I pressed the “auto-in” button for more than 3-4 seconds. I think the system resetted itself and all is fine now. You may give a try.

had to replace a sensor on mine last year. i think i have another sensor issue this year as it can 'click' alot before it comes back out. manually opening the letterbox and nudging it up a bit sorts that issue and it is only now and again, so not bothered to replace the sensor yet.
