I have two EIC001 panels connected to an EIC101 relay module. The trim tabs can be lowered from both panels, but they cannot be raised again. When the ignition is turned off, they automatically return to the up position. If I apply 12V directly to the yellow + green + blue wires on the relay module, they also go up. Therefore, I’m ruling out any fault with the motors or valves.
At first, I thought the blue cable between the EIC relay module and the bridge module was defective. I have now installed new connectors on one end of the cable, so it should be fine. I doubt that both displays could be faulty.
I connected one display directly to the EIC relay module, and it only clicks when I try to raise the trim tabs. Therefore, I suspect that the EIC relay module is defective.
Any thoughts?
Has anyone tried opening an EIC relay module?
