With the prospect of replacing the dreaded winding mechanism on our First Class 8 yet again, I read some time ago that somebody had replaced the screw with a hydraulic arrangement on a FC8. I have googled a bit to no avail.
As the mechanism is the same on a First 211, 260 and 25.7, I was wondering whether any of you guys have seen what I'm looking for, or anyone have any expertise in hydraulics to tell me the bits I need?! (cylinder, pump etc)
No point in asking Ancasta, they're unhelpful in the extreme with us "older" boat owners...
