Beneteau First 36.7 vs Salona 37

We are choosing a second-hand 37-feet cruiser-racer. We choosing between Salona 37 and Beneteau First 36.7. Which one is a better option (quality, endurance, cruising experience), what do you think? Which one performs better?

Haven't sailed either but the 36.7 we were racing against last week at least proved that in the right hands they are competitive on IRC.

The one Salona 37 I have sailed against was purchased by a guy with a race winning record in his previous boat (I can't remember what it was) and he could not get out of the bottom two on the Salona. He had riggers and sailmakers go over it but they could not get it going. Then he sold it and bought a j97 and is back winning again.
