Anyone found any LED replacement bulbs to fit the small round inset roof lights on a Beneteau? think they are G4 type bulbs.

Thanks, however, no problem finding G4 LED's, it's just that they don't seem to fit the Beneteau lamps as they have a concave reflector that doesn't allow enough room for the LED to push in

I had to cut off (cautiously!) a 2cm disc from the concave reflectors
no problem at all

I ended up buying replacement LED lights complete. Same dimensions so an easy swap. My old lenses had suffered from the heat from the original halogen lamps and were looking rather tatty. My replacements were only 20 euro each.

I have also replaced all halogens with cheap LED G4 replacement bulbs (I got from http://www.lightingnext.com/disc-type-12-smd-5050-g4-led-lamp.html). I have bought the soft white ones because I don't like the cool white. Of course this is a personal taste. Colour wise they don't seem that good because the colour of some are yellow-white (as expected) but some others have a bluish color! But who cares, there were so cheap....Consumption wise, they are EXCELLENT. How long they will last? I don't know yet. I just bought them a couple of months ago.Just make sure you buy the ones with the site pin.

I can't see any way to remove the dished reflector as it seems to be an integral part of the lamp

I can't remember how, but my reflectors came out OK - I think I used a small flathead screwdriver to pry them out.
I also bought two different LED sizes from Searolf (6 & 9 SMD)to see which ones I preferred. The smaller ones just fit with the reflector in place.
Regards, Dan
