Benalmedena to Alicante

Looking at a possible boat purchase. Boat is in Benalmedena, I would want to bring it around to Alicante. A cursory look at charts etc, the journey looks pretty straightforward. Anyone done this route recently to offer advice, best marinas/bars/restaurants for overnight etc?
