Yeah, we saw that too, bit of a sad sight really. Looks awfully like a Fairline Phantom 48, in which case it can't be more than a year or two old.

Blimey another one. Can anyone tell me what the magnetic attraction of Bembridge Ledge is? It's not as if it isn't marked on charts or not buoyed but with alarming regularity, all sorts of boats seem to ground there

Yep i know the boat.

On my Pontoon in Puerto Solento.


Saw him leave on Sat and thought it was odd seeing the boat tied up at Gosport (by the fuel bay) when I passed on Sunday morning.

The boat is a year old.

Ive only seen one apart from at SBS think it berths at ocean village as I followed one in there 2 weeks ago.

Ouch, well at least nobody hurt, and she's still afloat, so with new props/shafts and a bit of fibreglass, hopefully she'll be seaworthy again soon.

Cutting the corner there is very tempting.

Not surprised at this. We were anchored near that spot a on a falling tide a couple of weeks back for a spot of fishing, and I was amazed at how many boats cut the corner. One even cut inside of us despite our fairly close proximity to the exposed ledge (thanks for the wake guys).
