Not the one mentioned in "What a pillock" doing 20 knots in Chichester? That would be justice.

Yeah, we saw that too, bit of a sad sight really. Looks awfully like a Fairline Phantom 48, in which case it can't be more than a year or two old.

Cheers

It's beyond me how anyone with a boat that expensive can be so bloody stupid. My first trip there I did some research and asked the harbour there what the state was at a given tide...you just have to be pretty daft to do that...amazing photo! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

At least he is upright so he can make a cuppa while he waits. Unlike us raggies who have to get our priorities right as soon as the boat grounds. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Blimey another one. Can anyone tell me what the magnetic attraction of Bembridge Ledge is? It's not as if it isn't marked on charts or not buoyed but with alarming regularity, all sorts of boats seem to ground there
Btw it seems to be called New Horizon according to THIS

Ouch, well at least nobody hurt, and she's still afloat, so with new props/shafts and a bit of fibreglass, hopefully she'll be seaworthy again soon.

Cutting the corner there is very tempting.

Not surprised at this. We were anchored near that spot a on a falling tide a couple of weeks back for a spot of fishing, and I was amazed at how many boats cut the corner. One even cut inside of us despite our fairly close proximity to the exposed ledge (thanks for the wake guys).

Posh name for Port Solent. That shopping centre and cinema up a muddy ditch from Pompey.

Built on the old town rubbish dump, inbetween the motorway and the RN firefighting school. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
