Just bought my first rod and reel. Trying to learn but its not easy unless you have a fishing friend or go out on tripper boats. And you do need to learn - a short trip with a friend showed me how much knowledge there was involved, and what a waste of time my previous efforts had been.

So if you find any useful sources of info, post them on here please!
