Personally I preffered the Dog and Duck cos off the Sky TV and the Ginger Bird with the ENORMOUS mammeries

Born on the west side of Offas Dyke....

Family were 2nd generation colonists my fathers side were Jocks Mothers side from Australian Pioneers( No not convicts)

I have recently found out a load about my Great Uncle Billy on my mothers side that I used to visit when he lived in the lodge house next to the FUgly block of flats by the Gazelle.

He at one stage had the equivalent of a Brixham Trawler as a private yacht moored in Conway. In later years had a Mersey Milne class racing yacht called Merle that I remember been taken out to in his private launch during the Menai Straits Regattas in the 1960's

Colourful character as he and another relative were part of the 4 car Lagonda works team that raced at Brooklands in the 1920s (pre Bentley!)

Fast Cars,Big Boats, Posh House a sure fire way to quickly make a fortune very small!

I was delighted to find a GGG Grandad was transported for forging a will to the tune of £14k a massive fortune for the time.

This will be held at the Royal Welsh Yacht Club, Porth yr Aur on Saturday 25th April 2015. There will be a Chef cooked meal at around £10-15 per head (details to follow) and we will attempt to negotiate a discount at the Victoria Dock marina.
