I'm a member & I vouched for you all being jolly good fellows & ladies. :encouragement:
Just waiting for one couple now, I'll pm them.
The club haven't asked for a deposit, I'm a member & I vouched for you all being jolly good fellows & ladies. :encouragement: We'll probably have to get non-members to sign in, but I guess that will just be a matter of leaving the guest book open at the top of the stairs.
We'll pass a bucket around for people to put the money in with any tip if they feel it is justified &, after costs, it will go towards the roof repairs. 750 year old buildings always need repairs, be they churches, castles or sailing clubs! If anyone doesn't have a great time, they can take it out on me on here!

Steve, presume it's Colin and Helen you're waiting on, I'll text them now
I think the organization has been brilliant.
I for one will be adding to that bucket.
Really looking forward to it now..

the royal welsh rowing section have very kindly offered us an opportunity to try rowing a sea going celtic gig on saturday afternoon for those that are interested. These are lovely boats & regularly race locally & even cross the irish sea every year. Rowing in a team is a unique experience, the power of half a dozen people pulling hard makes the boats leap forward in the most amazing way.
Please let me know if you would like to take this great chance to try sea rowing. You will need clothing that you don't mind getting wet, but suitable buoyancy aids will be available.
Kawasaki will also be around with his superfast rib as well, so saturday looks like being an excellent day for those who arrive in time.
