Beat the Credit Crunch....The way forward?

These have been around for quite a few years, they are neither a good sailboat or a good motorboat. Even if going nowhere the accomodation is poor for a 26 footer of either persausion. Think its best to decide what you really want to do most of the time and buy a proper Sail or Mobo, its a bit like one of them multi tools ok for an occasional small job but if its anything serious you need a proper tool.

There is one of those on our pontoon, owner seems happy with it, does look a bit odd with a big outboard on the back though.

Really couldn't comment on the MacGregor but we do have an article in the Dec issue that might be of interest. With all the fuel issues and arguments, we've pitched a 7 - 8 knot mobo against a sailboat for a cross Channel (Hamble to Cherbourg) race. Who'll win? How much fuel will each boat have to use? Who will arrive in the better spirits? Gentlemen, lay your bets...

Jas1on says 'NO'!

They are desperate for his cash, therefore they will continue to invite him, wherever............and whenever.............he wants!

Like myself Rog, one day he may be in the market for a 34M yacht!

Come to mention it, we need hospitality at the forthcoming London boatshow! 'Lout & Jasion' had better get busy !
Jas.
