There's a reason the towing speed limit is 100kmh over here... Plus probably not enough tow ball weight.. he must have been doing over 120kmh as the video car was doing 104+

Lucky no one was hurt but wasn't the first and wont be the last...

Would you have felt the same way if your family had been killed or seriously injured, I doubt it, there are mistakes then there is blatant stupidity.

Hmm, the crash driver changed direction too sharply on a road where there was nothing coming in the opposite direction and the vehicles travelling behind at 60 mph were able to stop in good time.

I’ve done the same with a tow and trailer. 30 years ago. Managed to drive out of it and probably learned a lesson.

Yes, we have all made mistakes and have learned from them and 30 years ago we got away with a lot more than we do today, and that's the key, making a small mistake and learning.
Occasionally I put my Pacific truck on heavy haul to help a company out and while this is restricted to 40MPH with 600 tonnes on the back it doesn't stop the idiots passing me and cutting me up and braking, when they see over 600 tonnes looming in their rear view mirror they suddenly speed up when they realise their silly twatmobiles won't stop it, and that it cannot stop in the same distance as them, particularly when the escort vehicles drivers start giving them abuse for such stupidity.

It did seem daft/negligent to overtake two cars towing a boat on a trailer and its fortunate no one was badly injured or even killed but cant help feeling sorry for the losses they sustained, could have been a LOT worse! Cars and boats are replaceable.....
