T'was a good prog. It was in "The moments that shook the world" seris on beeb2. Basicallythe story of Cambell on the day that he crashed Bluebird. At the end they reckoned that it was the engine that caused the crash by cutting out.

There was a while ago a prog about Bluebird being raised from the bottom of the lake. They also recovered Cambells body or the remains of it. That was an intresting prog too.

Saw it, excellent programme. Did you see early Fairline 19 in some shots I remember them coming out in 60's, first boat Fairline produced. They've come on a bit since then.

Their was a BBC1(?) film a few years ago (84?) called "Across the Lake" which was a dramatised version of the last Month or so of Campbells life. They'd built a replica Bluebird with something like a 150HP Merc O/B hidden in the back. Shame they don't show it again. Cracking cars in it if I remember such as Donalds blue E TYpe etc.
