I have a friend with a Bayliner 246 with a damaged pulpit rail.
We need to replace only part of the rail and we see it is made in sections.
Bayliner do not make the rails does anyone know who make the rails for Bayliner or where we can get spare rail parts to match?
Thanks.

i agree most small welding workshops that make gates also weld stainless and should be able to copy no prob.
I no as my father in law does it. (glasgow tho)

There will be somebody somewhere local making up S/S bits and pieces, especialy if you are in a boaty area, people are bending stantions and pulpits all the time.
Might even be worth asking at your local independant motorcycle repair shop.
Make sure they know it is for a boat and therefore a need a decent grade and thickness of stainless to maintain its appearance and that at some point somebody is going to put a fair bit of strain on it.
There are also peeps who do this stuff over the interweb ,but it will be best if whoever does the job actually comes round with a tape measure for obvious reasons.

I think if you look at the West Marine Website you'll see the handrails sections there probably match what you're talking about, it all looked similar to what's on my Bayliner Trophy.

I found them in the printed Catalogue last week, i'm guessing you'll then be able to hunt down who actually makes them......

Fittings like these and railing like these perhaps? Look up the Bayliners owners club as well here, they have a section on hunting down bayliner specific parts if that's important.
