She looks like a nice one! welcome to the ever downtrodden and demeaned Fellowship of the Baviara Owners!

Was the 2001 still Lloyds certified? Looks a good boat for West Coast of Scotland...

you'll be wanting a nice cockpit tent now...

Lovely! We had a Bav 36 and loved it before going back to mobo's. The S48 was sold two years ago, but I'm aching to get back on the water. Money from the Sealine went to pay off the mortgage, and now well retired so not too much budget available. I will be looking for a nice, second hand Bav 34 of equivalent Benny or Jeanneau.

Very nice. Makes me feel at home. Very similar to my 37 of the same vintage. I hope you get as good service and as much fun out of it as I have had from mine.

There is no equivilant Bene or Jenny to the Bav 34...

Nice, I don't remember sponsoring this boat though? however you might get a good deal on bearings if you need any though, seeing as it's named after the latest marine grade. looks like a tidy boat.

A friend of ours had a Bavaria 40. For years he had a leak in the forecabin that he couldn't find the source of. He checked everything, hatch, stanchions, cleats etc and couldn't find it. Finally someone came over and shone a bright torch through the teak deck with him below. Visibility on the underside of the deck wasn't easy but the torch highlighted where a hole had been drilled throuogh the deck at manufacture and the hole had been subsequently covered up by the teak across the top. I assume this hole was for some factory fitted extra. He was then able to plug the hole from the top and the after all that time the leak was finally cured.

The interior shot, even the upholstery colour, is exactly the same as the Bav 36 I get to use in the South of France.

I bought my Bavaria last June after selling my Sealine F36 and I never regret doing so. Very pleased with the Bavaria and your's looks great.
