Battery consumption of a fridge?

So....

I need to buy 4 batteries. 2 for engine starting with ~1000 CCA and 2 for running the domestics.

This could be the starting battery. https://www.tayna.co.uk/019-Banner-Starting-Bull-Battery-59533-P8266.html

This could be the domestic battery https://www.tayna.co.uk/Numax-CXV31MF-P3694.html , but there seems to be a lack of info on why its a leisure battery? How does it differ? More cycles? Greater DOD?

Is Annageek still about?

Banner also do proper leisure batteries. I have them and they perform well.

Starter batteries have thicker plates to allow greater currents without distortion, but dont have the greatest AHr capacity (fewer plates)
'Domestic' batteries have more plates, hence greater AHr capacity but lower CCA (Cold cranking Amps) ... thus better for fridges, lights etc
'Leisure' batteries tend to be somewhere in the middle.
Decent batteries should be good for the best part of 1000 cycles to 80% Depth of Discharge. Discharge past that will quickly sulphate and wreck the battery.
80% DoD is around 11.8v or an SG of 1140
I've always found Tayna to be a good source

Thanks Phil. I suppose my point is that they don't give any details, just market them as 'leisure' or 'domestic', why not tell us about the plates so we can compare.

the weight I believe is a good sign of how much more lead the battery contains. Leisure batteries weigh more.

Check out Banner as I believe these come out tops in independent tests. Either those or Trojan and you can't go wrong.

Most Leisure batteries are dual purpose, Banner and Trojan (and a couple of others) are semi traction and can be charged far more times than the standard leisure.
