I need about 0.5 lt of battery acid to fill a battery supplied dry. Difficult to find online with the new rules. Any recommendations as to where I can find a small quantity?

Motorcycle batteries used to be supplied dry, with a bottle of acid to fill them with. That's now illegal. I wonder whether motorcycle specialists still keep acid?

It's for a motorcycle battery. I've found a place in Shrewsbury that will fill it for me but it's still a forty mile round trip.

Some battery vendors used to be quite generous with the acid they supplied.
You might find someone on your local owners' club facebook group has it sat in their garage.
