Any shop or make recommended?

Original Jeanneau ones lasted 8yr and replaced them with reasonably priced alphaline batteries from Battery megastore that are now 7yrs old and I believe are struggling to take a charge.

Any makes that I should avoid? - not interested in the best just value for money and if they last 6+ yrs I'm happy.

I have had two Yuasa batteries give exceptionally long service in a couple of small cars.. Approx 12 years in each case . One was re-badged "Halfords" the other "Renault"

+1 for Tayna as an online supplier

I use second hand batterys (load tested before purchase of course) .....

People turn noses up at the idea - but think on it ... a lot of 2nd hand at the breakers are from crashed or failed cars. Often the batterys are not old ... the load test shows if it can can do the job and price is very nice on the pocket.

The average life of these I have had ... 5+years .... (I have two batterys anywhere from 80 to 100A/Hr each) ..... cost from 20 - 30 euros a pop.
