batteries for western isles

Hi all, does anyone know where I can get marine batteries either delivered to the Isle of Skye or collected from Inverness, I've gone on-line and so far either the selection is non existent, or it's the labour-inducing shipping costs or the silly pick-up location (local pick-up is from Glasgow and I swear it's cheaper to rent a private jet than pay the shipping fee's on some of them)
So is there anyone with even the slightest of a clue to acquiring decent marine batteries that don't cost £300 +?

There are local hauliers that do Glasgow to the back of beyond for ~£50 a pallet.
Have a chat with a local boat yard (not marina) to see who they use. Soz, cant remember the fav round here.

I've used the above. Postage to the center of the universe was only £15 which I felt was quite reasonable.

They also deliver, for free if >£100 which marine batteries mostly are. They certainly deliver to me near Kyle of Lochalsh so I imagine they can cross the bridge also!

We bought online and got delivered to Stornaway so should be possible. Worked well and decent price, albeit for high spec battery. Sorry boarding plane so can’t lookup supplier till get home.

I got a battery at Arisaig delivered next day. Cheapest I've ever had. Ask Arisaig Marine who they order through.

Have a look at Alpha Batteries. A really good and helpful family firm with prices only a couple of quid higher than Tayna etc.
According to their website IV postcodes are charged at a surplus of £3.99 per order over their standard 3-5 day free delivery.
