Thanks, the CP is basically for the Carib, as it I "some" of the cmap cards I will need. I will cross the Atlantic on paper though and use it purely for AIS. Pushpit would suit be great - I have just the spot for it. I trusting the range will be OK......

The cp looks to have pretty decent alarm options for single handing. One downside of the nasa is once you're up with an alarm mid ocean at 3am then you need to play spider solitaire until the ship falls off the other side of the alarm zone before you can turn it on again. :) though not many ships out there.
Round the islands OpenCpn with Google earth charts can be very useful..

My nasa was fed from a radar arch antenna, always went off before the ship appeared.
